What is reliability?
It means if the test is repeated similiar results can be gained

What is Validity?
Does the test actually tests what it states it will. A valid test is one which is appropriate for the sport

What is Qualitative data?
Measure of opinion- more of a subjective than objective- refers to quality of performance rather than quantity.

What is Quantitative data?
A measurement which has been quantified.

What is Specifity?
Training should be specific the needs of an individual and demands of sport or position they play in a team.

What is Progressive overload?
Working harder than normal. The body will adapt and improve. Overload should gradually increase as body adapts.

What is Reversibility?
If you stop/get injured, you loose the benefits of excersise. Fitness and performance is likely to drop.

What is Tedium?
If you are doing the same training all the time. Refers to boredom and training should be varied and altered to prevent this from happening

What is Frequency?
How many times you train a week and how often. A fitness increases, you can train more often.

What is intensity?
How hard you train. As fitness increases, intensity should be increased.

How long you train for. As fitness increases, the length of time spent training increases.

Steady pace, long duration without stopping.

Moving around a number of stations/excersises

High intensity for short amount of time with periods of rest.

Muscle strength= High weight low repetitions Muscle endurance= Low weight high repetitions Repetition=Performing one excersise Sets= A group of repetitions
