What is phishing?
Fraudsters send random emails asking people who uses online banking. They try to get bank and credit card detials.

What are Trojans?
Small programs used to get details of your user-IDs and passwords.

What are the 4 stages of identify theft/fraud?
1. Person finds personal and financial details. 2. Open new credit card accounts using redirected mail. 3. Make purchases in your name e.g. a car. 4. Give your name to the police if they are in a car accident, you're arrested, no appearance in court.

What is Encryption?
Codes data whilst it is being sent and only the authorised recipent is allowed to decode it.e.g. credit card details.

What are problems with encryption?
can be used for conversations between terroists and isn't liked by secruity forces.
