What's the difference between direct data and indirect data
Direct Data: Collected for a specific purpose. Indirect Data: Derived from data originally collected for an entirely different purpose (from a previous system).

Data that's been processed and has useful meaning

It's processed, Converted to give meaning, Organised in some way

What is processing?
The act of arranging data into a meaningful order

Encoding?
Putting data/information in a specialised format, so it can be sent across a network or stored by an ICT effectively

1. Accuracy of Information e.g. incorrect bank statements due to wrong interests rates.

2. How easily info. can be understood (clear)- If can't be understood time will be wasted

3. Relevance - If info. is not relevant then it's just a waste of storage

4. How current is the info. e.g. If a person moves to a new address with notifying then bills will be sent to the wrong person.

5. Businesses may be at a high advantage if they can approach customers who are likely to change something. Using such information, the companies are then able to send promotional information to customers which would be beneficial to both parties
