Just War Theory
By St. Thomas Aquinas,St. Augustine : belief that to go to war, you have to satisfy the following: there must be a just cause, the last resort, controlled+started by competent authority,right intention-promote good, chance of success,proportionality

Islam & Peace
Jihad: struggle/effort. 2 types: lesser(military)+greater(internal)+also struggle to build good society. You have chance of revenge but forgiveness is better. You have to stop fighting if the opposition wants peace. Use Prophet+forgiveness story.

Capital Punishment: For:protection.cheaper,an eye for an eye,deterrent, re-offenders.Against: love your enemies/turn the other cheek/speck of dust,sanctity of life,no longer deterrent,no time to repent,executioner=murderer.

Religion and Equality: Christianity= we are are equal -- all made from mud. God loves all genders,colours,races,statuses. 'There is neither Greek nor Jew, slave nor free, male nor female for you are all one in Christ.'
