Aim: to investigate whether work stressors (repetitiveness, machine-pace work and responsibility) increase stress related illness.
- 14 "finishers" in a Swedish Sawmill. (Job was to finish off wood at the last stage of processing timber). Machine paced, isolated, repetitive but skilled. Wage rates depended on them.
