    • CARBOLOADING
      • two-three days leading up to endurance (marathon) - high carbs - build up glycogen in muscles & liver
      • POST RACE - drink fluids, eat 2 hours after to replace energy
      • PRE RACE - 2-3 hours before have meal - cereal, bread, bit of protein
      • DURING RACE - litre of water - electrolyts & salt
