Define a 'system'
A collection of parts that all work together to do a particular function
1 of 8
What are the three stages a system can be broken down into?
Input, Process, Output
2 of 8
What does a conductor do?
Allows electricity to flow through it - it has a low resistance. Example: copper
3 of 8
What does an insulator do?
Prevents electricity from flowing through it - it has a high resistance. Example: PVC
4 of 8
Why does a resistor reduce the current?
To protect delicate components from damage
5 of 8
What does the voltage do?
Pushes the current around the circuit
6 of 8
Name three input devices that could be used in a circuit
Switch, LDR(light dependent resistor), thermistor
