  • Electrical Systems
    • A system is a collection of parts that work together to do a particular function
    • The three stages of an electrical system are: Input, Process, Output
    • A conductor allows electricity to flow through it
      • Copper
    • An insulator prevents electricity from flowing through it
      • PVC
    • A resistor can reduce the current flowing through a circuit to protect delicate components
    • Voltage pushes the current around a circuit
    • Input devices: switches, LDRs, thermistors
    • Output devices: bulbs, motors, buzzers
