How does the psychodynamic theory explain aggression?
When there is an imbalance of Eros and Thanatos, Eros prevents us from hurting ourselves which is what Thanatos wants, so we hurt other people, however Catharsis sometimes can stand in and help us relieve these urges by alternative ways

How does Freud's personality theory explain aggression?
When the Ego or the Superego hasn't developed properly so the id takes more control and satisfies the urges which could be aggressive

Freud developed his ideas from case studies form people who were his patients, theory was built from valid data from each individual
