In what ways can an organisation ensure access?
There are different ways to ensure access and adapt services to accommodate user needs, including varying forms of communication and physical adaptations.

There could be acts such as enabling access to GP services at new locations; to ensuring that hostile language is not used when talking to the service user.

When serving these individuals you should make sure to use gender termonology which is acceptable to the service user; or recognise any associated mental health issues.

Things could be done such as providing hearing loops in their GP surgeries; or they could use British Sign Language to communicate.

Actions could be taken such as peer medication and mentoring in schools, or nature groups could be provided in primary schools - this could be used as an early intervention strategy.

Servies could be provided such as providing accessible rooms in clinics, or give support with participation in sports and exercise in schools.
