Look after body = balanced diet, exercise, not abusing drugs.

Drug = anything which affects the way the body works

Legal drugs = aspirin, caffeine, antibiotics

Illegal drugs = cannabis, speed and ecstasy

Solvents

• Found in most homes (paints, aerosols, glues)
• They are drugs because cause hallucinations (illusions of mind)
• Severe effect on behaviour and character
• Serious damage to kidneys, live, brain and lungs.

Alcohol

• Found in beers, wines and spirits
• Depressant drug - inhibited (not normal) feeling
