How Are High Streets Preventing Decline?

The changing face of retail has effected CBD'S (central business districts) in many ways such as online shopping instead of visiting grocery/ clothing shops and out of town centres e.g the trafford centre which attracts many shoppers from both near and far away putting towns/citys shops in danger.
The traditional shopping hierachy of the CBD, with its large shopping centre or mall, the local high street offering a smaller range of shops and the corner shop selling convinience goods, has for some time been under threat from the rise of the out of ftown retail parks and interent shopping.
