Small stores and business are going out of business due to people deciding to shop online to avoid the threat of payiong for parking. Figures have shown that councils in England and Wales are set to collect an additional £39 million this year due to parking fees. Council around the Uk have noticed that the amount of customers in shops increase by 50% when free parking is availiable.
