Insecure water future for the Indian continent

• The Indian subcintinent has an insecure water future for many reasons. One reason is because monsoon climates in India creates extreme flooding and drought.
• Another reason why there may be future wtaer insecurity is because there is an unsustainable demand for water. This is due to the rapid population growth, the fact that there is a large rural population and also recent industrialisation.
