 MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE-AFTER NAZIS HAD BEEN DEFEATED THE ALLIANCE BECAME UNEASY. 

THE BIG 3 WERE-CHURCHILL(ENG) ROOSEVELT(USA) STALIN(USSR)

1943- THE TEHRAN CONFERENCE-- (28th NOVEMBER TO 1st DECEMBER 1943)- MAKE PLANS ON THE RECONSTRUCTION OF POST WW2 EUROPE. COMMUNIST SPHERE OF INFLUENCE AGREED. CAPITALISM WOULD ALSO HAVE ONE.  GERMANY'S FUTURE WAS NOT AGREED ON. STALIN "GERMANY SHOULD BE PUNISHED BY GIVING UP TERRITORY AND PAYING REPARATIONS AS A FINE"- ENSURE THEY NEVER START WAR AGAIN. UK AND USA "GERMANY SHOULD BE REBUILT, A PEACEFUL EUROPE WOULD NEED A PROSPEROUS GERMANY"

1945- YALTA CONFERENCE-- (4th TO 11th FEBRUARY) -HIGH POINT OF GRAND ALLIANCE FOLLOWING DECISIONS MADE - STALIN AGREED RUS TROOPS WOULD HELP USA DEFEAT JAPAN AFTER HITLER HAD BEEN DEFEATED - ROOSE AND CHURCH
