General AO1:
Behaviour that indicates attachment (Maccaby - 1980)
- Seeking Proximity
- Distress on Seperation
- Joy on reunion
- General orientation towards people
Attachment = measured in 2 ways
- Seperation Anxiety
- Stranger Anxiety
Role of father:
- Father = less likely to be primary, more likely to be secondary attachement
- (First sole attachment = 3%, joint first attachment = 27%)
