The lorenz curve is a graph the represents the "distribution of income" (wealth) of the people in a country. The graph shows the proprotion of overall income or wealth assumed by the bottom % of people. A Lorenz curve statement would be "the bottom 20% of all households share 10% of the total income" Here is an example of an Lorenz curve.
