Animal Rights-Key Concepts

Sancity Of Life: Life is sacred because it is god given

Responsibility: Duty; the idea we are responsible for our own actions

Extinction: when all members of a species have died out and will never exist on earth again

Free-Range Farming: farming that allows animals to roam free and behave natrually

Vegetariansim: belief by people that do not eat meat

Vegan: A person who will not use any animal product

Fur Trade: Businesses of farming/hunting wild animals for their fur to made into clothing

Ivory Tradesale of ivory from elephant tusks, often illegally

Animal Experiments: testing on animals either for medical/cosmetical purposes to ensure that it is safe for humans to use.

Genetic Modification: plants & animals that have had their natural make up altered by scientists

Cloning: scientific methods which animals/plants can be created which have the exact same genetic make up as the original because it has the original DNA used.
