Overall summary

Factory workers who had lost their jobs in the Industrial Revolution where outraged that new machinery was being introduced to factories and replacing them. Because of this the workers, between 1811-1812 smashed 1000 machines. This alarmed the authorities and  the frame breaking act was introduced.
