- WHAT IS IT?
- The layout or arrangement of the use of land.
- CBD
- This is where the shops businesses etc are located
- VERY ACCESIBLE -> transport links -> roads etc
- Retaling will cluster in and around the centre -> most accesible
- Generally land values decline from the centre -> however relativley high land values are also found along major roads
- Land becomes cheaper towards the urban fringe, so houses become spacious.
