- MIG Welding
- Means Metal Inert Gas
- copper wire is automatically fed into the handle to create continuous weld
- can be used for a range of thicknesses of the metal you are using unlike spot welding
- commonly uses argon to protect the arc while it is applying the melted copper
- better than other welding processes because it doesn't need the user to manually feed copper wire on the weld
- doesn't require flux paste to protect the weld from contaminates
- copper wire needs to be in contact with something metal to create a circuit that can allow an electric current to run through to melt the copper and join the materials together
