  • MIG Welding
    • Means Metal Inert Gas
    • copper wire is automatically fed into the handle to create continuous weld
    • can be used for a range of thicknesses of the metal you are using unlike spot welding
    • commonly uses argon to protect the arc while it is applying the melted copper
    • better than other welding processes because it doesn't need the user to manually feed copper wire on the weld
    • doesn't require flux paste to protect the weld from contaminates
    • copper wire needs to be in contact with something metal to create a circuit that can allow an electric current to run through to melt the copper and join the materials together
