    • Static electricity
      • -Electrons have a negative charge
        • When two insulating materials are rubbed together electrons will be scraped off and go onto the other - this leaves a positive static charge on the other due to an excess of electrons.
      • Both +'ive and -'ive electrostatic charges are only ever produced by the movement of electrons
        • The positive charges NEVER move -  A positive charge is always caused by electrons moving else where
    • Charge in circuits
      • Current is  the flow of an electrical charge around a circuit - basically the flow of electrons
        • Voltage is the driving force that pushes the current round the circuit
        • Resistance is anything in a circuit which slows the flow down
      • if you increase the voltage then more current will flow. If you increase the resistance  then less current will flow.
