      • Definition- The proportion of body weight that is muscle, fat and bone.
      • Sporting example- basketball, jockeys, sumo wrestling

      • Definition- The ability to exert a large amount of force in a single maximum effort.
      • Sporting example- weightlifting, boxing, wrestling
      • Test- Grip dynamometer
    • Coordination
      • Definition- The ability to move two or more body parts at the same time.
      • Sporting example- tennis, netball, badminton.
      • Test- Alternative tennis ball wall throw
    • Agility
      • Definition- the ability to change direction at speed.
      • Test- Illiniois Agility run
      • Sporting example- table tennis, hockey, netball.
    • Balance
      • Definition- the ability of the performer to retain their centre of mass over their base of support without falling.
      • Test- Stork balance
      • Sporting example- gymnastics, surfing.
    • Speed
      • Definition- the time taken to cover a set distance
      • Test- 30m sprint
      • Sporting examples- sprinting, tennis.
