What are the situational variables ?
Proximity , Uniform, and Location

They believe their legitimate as people have been told to respect those in uniform since they were young.

Many participants cheated and missed out shocks or gave less voltage than ordered to by the experimenter. Why?
Because there was distance between the experiment and the teacher so it was easy to resist the order.
