Why is Aging a problem?
- Decrease in workforce as most over 65 will not work (skills gap, job gap)
- Increase in Dependency Ratio
- Need for Immigrant Labour

How do you work out the Dependency Ratio?
Young Dependents % + Old Dependents % / Working Population % x 100
In the EU - Young is under 19 & Old is over 60
Examples: Germany = 52, Nigeria = 86, World Average = 53, Chad = 98
