Claimed to be Richard Duke of York+was supported by Charles VIII of France. Moved to Burgundy + got support from Margaret of Burg+Maximilian, but moved to Kent (1495), + then fled to Scotland.

Persuaded James IV of his claim+was given 1,200 pounds per year and his cousin in marriage. Due to Anglo-Scottish truce, he fled to Ireland, but lacked support so confessed in 1497.

Led by the Yorkist supporter Viscount Lovell + Stafford, they sought sanctuary at Colchester + tried to gather troops in 1486, but failed so the rebellion collapsed.
