Who was Henry VII and why was his claim to the throne weak?
Henry VII was the main Lancastrian claimant to the English throne and was born to Edmund Tudor and Margaret Beaufort on 28th January 1457. His claim to the throne was weak because it stemmed from his mother and his lineage was seen as illigitemate.

What happened at the Battle of Bosworth on 22nd August 1485?
Henry VII claimed victory as Richard III was defeated on the battlefield. Henry VII seized the crown and the English throne.

What were the problems Henry VII faced after gaining the English throne?
Yorkist Claimants who had equal if not more claim to the throne lived. Margaret, Duchess of Burgundy wasn't happy about the removal of her brother from the throne. Henry VII's claim was still very weak and some nobles didn't support his accension.

Won at Bosworth, showed he's an able leader and succesful soldier, Dispute between houses created instability which the people were tired of, no one of high place knew who he was so had no-little enemies in high places.

-Establish and secure the right to his throne-Strengthen the Royal Government by better control of the nobility-Strengthen the Monarchy and the kingdom for the future and ensuring a strong financial foundation.
