What is HDL and LDL?
high and low density lipoproteins

What does HDL and LDL do?
HDL = takes away cholesterol to be broken down. LDL = diposits build up the arteries, preventing blood flow

Name the 4 fractures?
Compound (goes through skin), Simple (stays in skin), greenstick (bones bends to one side), stress (overuse)

What is tennis elbow?
tendons become inflammed, joint injury, caused by overuse

bones come out of place at a joint

What is a sprain?
torn ligaments, muscle injury, caused by greater range of movement, cause bruising and swelling

torn cartilage, prevents cushioning, causes bruising and stiffness at joints

soft tissue injury, muscles only, cause deep bruising
