Universalism
The factor that everything applies to everyone in every place.

Utilitarianism
The factor that the decision made will benefit the majority and not benefit the minority.

A rule that is true true in all situations; there are universal rights and wrongs.

A judgement that depends on the circumstances; there is no universal right or wrong.

Natural Moral Law (NML)
As humans we know that things are morally right and morally wrong and therefore if someone is psychologically normal and does something that is wrong e.g. murder they will feel guilty just like if someone does something good they will feel pride

Eternal law
God creates everything and his will and wisdom is shown to us through "Divine Law"

Divine Law
The sacred teachings of the church, which are made known through "Natural Law"

An absolute and universal sense of moral duty which directs humans to the right actions.

Hedonic Calculus
Benthams method of measuring the good and bad affects of an action. (pain vs pleasure)

Principle of Utility
Benthams belief that the right course of action is that which brings the greatest happiness to the greatest number (utilitarianism)
