What is egocentric speech?
Speaking in a way that does not respect the informational needs of the listener. Example a young child on the phone, and the child failing to take into the fact that the listener cannot see what the child can see.

The experiment requiring a great deal of explicit communication. One speaker one listener. The children cannot see each other, the speaker has to describe a block, the listener has identical blocks and must choose the same one.
