-Rain doesnt supply enough water for cattle.-Subterranean body of water underground.-Found under almost 1/4 of Australia.-Holds 65 million megalitres.-Fresh water rises to surface in series of springs.-Tap into basin+source water.

- Most farms have dams and reservoirs to store water for sheep and cattle.
