what is sensation?
the stimulus driven process by which we sense organs response to and translate environmental stimuli, into nerve endings that send messages into brain

making sense of what the sensation is, active process of selecting, organizing and interpreting the info brought to the brain

a characteristic sign or indication of the existence of something else, a change from normal function, combined with abnormal lab results or physical changes, signs are objective and symptoms are subjective

severe health anxiety may persist despite medical reassurance and may create more distress, can cause personal suffering, breakdown of friends and social relationship
