Difficult to asses level of anticlerical feeling- Most celebrated case is Richard Hunne.

Hunne was a London Merchant, who refused to pau the mortuary fee after his infant son died in 1511.
The grieving father responded with a series of law suits during which his house was searched and a large quantity of Lollard literature was found.
