motivation and getiting into the zone

there are 3 ways that a sportsperson can mentally prepare before a game /race/cpmpetiton.

imagery- the performer would visulise themselfs compleating their sport in their head and doing good at it. this can help with going into the match with positive mindsets and reduce stress

mental rehersal- where you picuture youself compleating a skill in your head. for exaple, a gymnast cpmpleating a sommer solt before doing the move. this
