The site used to be Gas works and it was part of Londons old dockland.

Homes -  

• Uses 80% less energy in homes because of locally generated power supplies, such as photovoltaic panels that absorb sunlight to generate electricty and low energy lighting.
• MVHR- mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems allow the temperatures in homes to stay at a moderate level to save energy.
• Housing uses 30% less water, dual flush toilets help to reduce water usage.
