What is it?

• Metabolic, autoimmune disorder in which a person has high blood glucose levels. The pancreas does not produce any insulin to regulate blood glucose levels.

Causes

• Family history 
• Genetic predisposition

Symptoms 

• Feeling very thirsty 
• Urinating frequently 
• Feeling very tired
• Weight loss and loss of muscle
• CAN DEVELOP QUICKLY OVER A MATTER OF DAYS
• Thrush 
• Blurred vision caused by the lense of the eye changing 
• Cramps
• Skin infections
