frescoes
mycenaean frescoes were certainly something, weren't they...! they used colour and paid attention to detail! (but not to realism, i'm afraid)
they were influenced by earlier, minoan cretan frescoes. and they were usually on rich people palaces, but were also seen on houses, workshops and public buildings.
to make frecoes, you would first put a thick layer of lime plaster on a stone wall. then u let it dry.
