  • Pop increased to 160,000 in 2011 due to suburbanisation 

People move to surbiton because:-

  • Excellent transport links into centre of London (trains and A3 road)
  • Variety of good quality housing
  • wealthy area with shops and restaurants
  • Good state schools + parks so popular with families

 

Problems with Surbiton:-

  • Many owned cars parked on the road makes large vehicals unable to get around causing congestion
