The Nazis believed-

Aryans were a superior race

Germany had problems because it was not run by Aryans

They would get rid of all Jews and other Non-aryans.

This was the people's community

Individuals were not as important as the whole

'Fuhrer, Volk and Vaterland'

They would achieve this by getting rid of other commitments (even things like swimming clubs) and remove free speech (even between friends).
