	Advantages Unlike Sheriff, the research provides a percentage measurement of conformity. It was an unambiguous task. The research is cross-cultural. This means it isn't biased towards certain cultures and can be applied to other research worldwide.	Disadvantages Low ecological validity means that the results cannot be generalised to a wider population. i.e. the sample size was not big enough and it was gender biased. Low in mundane realism as it was in an unfamiliar environment that did not mimic real life. Results can be affected by demand characteristics. The participants reactivity to the experiment could be bias towards what they think the investigator wants. Protection of participants.
