                • Reichswehr commanded to put down rebellion, but "The Reichswehr does not fire on the Reichswehr"
                  • Ebert calls strike in Berlin to stop the Putsch. Weimar was supported by trade unionists and civil servants so the city froze and, with little support, the Putsch collapsed
                    • Despite over 400 Reichswehr members being involved, very few were punished
