- Gestalt
- Max Wethiemer - first psychologist to understand this in terms of psychology.
- "The whole" in German
- Objects are not isolated patches of light and dark
- We form gestalt's of the things in front of us.
- Gestalt are whole things, an entire object
- Seeing whole things are that not there.
- Proximity
- Sense of unification - things closer to each other you see as being integrated
- Similarity
- Causes you to see columns and rows without thinking anything differently
- Continuity
- End of one and beginning of another makes us believe they are the same
- Closure
- Closing the triangles up, your brain in inferring the idea of a triangle - creating whole objects even if they is a piece missing.
- Symmetry
- Untitled
