Platelets
these are tiny cells that are in our blood. The main responsibility of platelets is to create a blood clot and stop the bleeding when we are injured.

Lipoproteins
Particles Made up of cholesterol, phospholipids, triglycerides. Particles move proteins around bloodstream

Haemoglobin
Main protein in erythrocytes. Combines with oxygen to make oxyhaemoglobin

Oxyhaemoglobin
Created when haemoglobin combines with oxygen. Carries oxygen where it needs to go. Returns to haemoglobin when oxygen is released.

Hormones
Controls certain cells and organs in the body. Essential for organising processes such as growth and fertility.

Immune response
Destroys bacteria and harmful viruses within the body

Pathogens
Microorganisms such as : fungi, bacteria, protozoa & viruses. Causes diseases that immune system destroys

These are invaders in your body that can easily trigger immune systems. These can be microbes like parasite and bacteria
