A faith school can be set be any school e.g free schoool, academy but has to follow one religion. They still follow the national curriculm. The things that make them different is the fact they can change their admisions and staffing criteria

Academies are publicaly funded indepent school. They can set their own term times however still have to follow the same rules on admisions and educational needs as other state schools

These work on a profit basis and get the parents to pay for each term. They work in a academi selection throught the 11+ exams.
