The Jewish 'heaven', may include rivers of milk + honey, gates of ruby and the Tree of Life

Gehenna
The word is derived from the rubbish tip which was outside Jerusalem, where sacrifices would be made to the gods of polytheistic religions. A Jewish 'hell', fire 60x than that on Earth + great darkness. Not permanent - 12 months then Gan Eden.

1st stage of mourning, for 7 days after the funeral the family stays at home and say the Kaddish three times a day, talk about the death and cover all mirrors

2nd stage of mourning, up to 30 days after the funeral, don't engage in entertainment + male mourners will got to the synagogue to say the Kaddish, but life begins to turn to normal

3rd stage of mourningup until the first yahrzeit, the Kaddish is ssaid daily

Yahrzeit
anniversary of the death, on the 1st a headstone is placed on the grave, others a candle is lit + Kaddish is said
