What are some features of roman public health?
Baths, public toilets, public water fountains, aqueduct and sewer system, army hospitals and reservoirs

Why was the public health not always great?
lead pipes led to lead poisoning, the baths were rarely cleaned, sometimes the sewer system didn't work and diseases spread,waste deposited in rivers, only in towns and hospitals were mainly for soldiers.

They wanted to keep the army healthy, believed dirt and disease were linked, had great engineers, had a lot of money, it was the governments responsibility and they believed it was better to prevent than cure.
