What is forgiveness?
When we forgive people for something which they have done wrong

What is reconciliation?
The ending of a dispute or the restoring of a good relationship between people who have been in dispute.

That if Christians wish to be forgiven by God, they should be prepared to forgive people. This doesn't mean that a person who commits a wrong action should get away with it, but if they repent (are truly sorry) they should be forgiven.

In the Roman Catholic Church what can a person ask for forgiveness through? What does this involve?
The sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession), where they tell a priest what they have done and the priest helps them to make amends for their actions through prayer and repentance.

In the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

What do many Christians believe because of the Sacrament of the Eucharist?
That God sent Jesus to be sacrificed on the cross in order to reconcile God with humanity. Humans are forgiven through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and this is remembered at the Eucharist.
