What is commitment?
Dedication towards something, being devoted towards something, keeping an obligation, keeping a promise, something you choose to do, E.g The vows you make during a wedding are commitments

Duties you should carry out, liabilities, obligations E.g A carers responsibility for their children

Disagreement and quarrels, clashes and breakdown of relationships, confrontation E.g Two friends disagreeing on something and fighting

Apologising and becoming friends again, saying sorry, harmonising E.g Two friends making up after a fight
