Idea One
The person dies. Body is cremated. Soul goes on to be judged by God. Depending on faith/actions and weather they are sorry for what they have done, the soul will go to heaven or hell.

Idea two
The person dies. The body is burried or creamted. Everything stays the same until the end of time/world. In the end of the world, Jesus will return to earth (parousia). All the dead will then face judgement day and souls with go to heaven or hell.

Idea three
This is the same as idea two but the body is also resurrected and therefore is not cremated.

Idea four
This is the same as idea one but you spend time in purgatory having your sins removed before you go to heaven. The time in pugatory is sped up if people pray for you. The prayers are called intercessions.

The day Jesus will come back down to earth at the and of time.

(Idea four) When people pray for a soul in purgatory to speed up the time the soul has to stay there.
