Abuse

Negative and harmful way of behaving towards another person or certain group of people. Physical, sexual, financial etc.

Direct Discrimination
(intentional)
Indirect Discrimination
(unintentional)

Direct - Intentionally putting someone at a disadvantaged, treating them unfairly based on their differences.
Indirect - Accidental. Policy, practice or rule that applies to everyone but is detrimental on some or a particular group of people.

Prejudice

Negative attitude or dislike of an individual or a group based on ill informed personal opinion.

Stereotyping

Generalisation, which are offensive and exaggerated.

Labelling

Identifies people as members of a particular groups as being 'all the same'.

Bullying

Methods of intimidation, humiliation and threatening behaviours to frighten others. Often seen in situations of people in power.
